Demand AI Group takes off: new headquarters opened in Dublin!
Demand AI Group Inc. opened its European headquarters in Dublin on July 4, 2025. This move establishes the company as its sixth global location since its inception in early 2025. John Moran, a seasoned industry veteran with more than 20 years of international leadership experience in demand generation and marketing technology, has been appointed Managing Director for European operations. Demand AI Group aims to redefine lead generation and buyer targeting in an increasingly AI-driven world, as reported on the pages of OTS.
Co-founder Mike Whife, who was previously CEO of B2B lead generation company SSG, which was acquired by IDG in 2022, emphasizes the need to rethink traditional models. According to Whife, these no longer work and require the introduction of new, AI-based strategies. The company offers autonomous demand generation solutions and actively supports its customers in the transition to AI-powered methods. Demand AI already has a presence in six countries and is aiming for further growth.
Promoting innovation in AI
The AI4EU consortium, founded in January 2019, aims to create the first European platform and ecosystem for on-demand artificial intelligence (AI). Supported by the European Commission under the H2020 program, AI4EU promotes collaboration between scientists, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and industry representatives in 28 European countries. The project's activities include, among others, the design of a European AI on-demand platform and the provision of high-level services and expertise in AI research
Another significant aspect of the AI4EU project is the financing of SMEs and start-ups that can benefit from the platform's AI resources. A €3 million cascade funding plan will support innovative solutions to address AI challenges and a European Ethics Observatory will be set up to ensure high ethical and legal standards in AI projects, as explained on ai4europe.eu.
Europe's strategic initiative for AI
The EU Commission has presented an action plan for artificial intelligence that is intended to increase Europe's competitiveness and technological sovereignty. It covers five key areas: building AI data and computing infrastructure, improving access to high-quality data, adopting AI in strategic areas, strengthening AI skills and simplifying regulations. Henna Virkkunen, Executive Vice President, highlights the urgency of taking immediate action to position Europe as a leading AI continent.
Under the action plan, the creation of AI gigafactories will also be promoted, which will be equipped with around 100,000 AI chips to provide massive computing power. Private investments amounting to 20 billion euros will be mobilized for this purpose. A new law on the development of cloud and AI is expected to triple the EU's data center capacity within the next five to seven years. In this context, an AI law service desk will also be set up to help companies comply with the regulations, as reported by the official EU representation.
