In Altenkirchen, an incident occurred in the night of January 8, 2025 in connection with the violation of the Narcotics Act. At 00:40 a.m., a 32-year-old driver was stopped as part of a traffic control on Kölner Strasse. At the time of the control, this was not in possession of a valid driver's license and was apparently under the influence of alcohol and narcotics. A blood sample was removed and corresponding legal procedures were initiated. The police department Neuwied/Rhein reported the incident at 02:39 a.m.
