In January 2025, the Kniestedter Church in Salzgitter-Bad will become a hotspot for music lovers: On January 10th, the band VanderLinde will start their eagerly awaited “20 Years on the road tour”, which includes numerous concerts in Germany and beyond. Ahead of the tour, the ninth studio album “The Way I’m Wired” will be released on January 20th, produced by Erwin Musper, a veteran who has worked with the likes of David Bowie and Elton John. VanderLinde, led by Arjan van der Linde, combines musical influences from bands such as the Black Crowes and Aerosmith as well as his own style. Families can also look forward to it: On January 26th, the play “Everything is strong! or Hauen until the milk tooth wobbles?” Exciting entertainment for small and large spectators.
Concert highlight with Vanja Sky
Another highlight recently took place on November 22nd, 2024, when the Croatian blues rock artist Vanja Sky returned to the Kniestedt Church after 19 months. The 31-year-old, who attracted attention with her debut album “Bad Penny”, showed an energetic performance with her band. The show started promptly at 8:00 p.m. and offered a mix of spirited rock and soulful blues. With hits like “Crossroads Of Life” Vanja Sky set a musical example and thrilled the audience of around 130 people. The audience honored the talent of the musicians with great applause, including Schiller guitarist Günther Haas, who impressed with excellent solos.
