An exciting duel in the Regionalliga Nordost ended with a thrilling 1-1 draw between FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt and VSG Altglienicke. The game, which took place at the Steigerwaldstadion, saw 4,244 spectators witness a dramatic game. Altglienicke got off to a better start and took the lead in the 5th minute with a goal from Kauter. Erfurt initially seemed shocked and couldn't get into the game, which led to a deficit in the first half.

But the second half brought a turning point! Erfurt showed fighting spirit and pushed for the equalizer. In the 85th minute it was Joker Langner who finally scored the deserved equalizer after a great interaction with Maluze. “I’m happy about it,” said Langner after the game. Coach Gerber was also satisfied: “The point is deserved.” Despite the late comeback, there was no longer enough time for victory and the Erfurt team had to settle for a point, extending their unbeaten streak to nine games.
