Bös awakening at Erfurt Airport: vacationers have to pay 1,200 euros!
Vacation joy turns into shock! A 33-year-old German wanted to fly into the sun of Egypt on Friday evening (November 8th) at Erfurt Airport, but then everything turned out differently. Instead of looking forward to the vacation, he was faced with an unexpected financial nightmare. The federal police had issued two arrest warrants against him - a truly evil awakening!
The man had already paid a fine of 465 euros, but that wasn't enough. A further amount of 1,200 euros was still outstanding, and without this payment his dream vacation in the desert would have ended in a nightmare. The Hessian judiciary wanted him for embezzlement and driving without a license. But the 33-year-old was lucky in misfortune: he was able to pay the outstanding amount directly at customs at the airport. So he avoided a possible prison sentence of 111 days and was finally able to set off into the Egyptian sun!
