Karlsruhe – A dramatic blow against extremism! In the early morning of November 5, 2024, the Federal Prosecutor's Office arrested eight suspected members of a right-wing extremist group in a large-scale operation. The arrests took place in and around Leipzig, in Dresden and in the Meißen district. Jörg S. was even caught in Zgorzelec, Poland! At the same time, investigators searched around 20 objects and the measures are still ongoing.

The suspects are part of the so-called “Saxon Separatists”, a militant group that has been forming since November 2020. This group, consisting of 15 to 20 people, propagates a dangerous ideology characterized by racism, anti-Semitism and apocalyptic ideas. They believe in an imminent “collapse” of Germany and plan to conquer territories by force in order to establish a National Socialist regime. Ethnic cleansing cannot be ruled out!

Secret training and military preparations

Those arrested, including younger members, have undergone paramilitary training since the group's founding. These included the use of firearms, house-to-house fighting and even forced marches! The group has acquired military equipment such as camouflage suits and gas masks to prepare for their supposed overthrow of the system.

Over 450 security forces and police officers are involved in today's measures, which are being carried out in close cooperation with the Federal Criminal Police Office and the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. The suspected extremists will now be brought before the investigating judge at the Federal Court of Justice, where a decision will be made about their pre-trial detention. The investigation continues and searches are also being carried out in Austria and Poland!
