In a shocking incident, unknown perpetrators defaced passenger trains with graffiti in Trier and Wittlich! The paint graffiti, which extends over large areas, caused enormous material damage totaling around 6,600 euros. The federal police have been alerted and are urgently looking for witnesses!
Last weekend, more precisely between November 14th and 17th, there was a massive act of vandalism in the Trier railway depot. A train was sprayed over an impressive 80 square meters, causing damage of around 4,000 euros. But that wasn't all! On the night of November 15th to 16th, another passenger train at Wittlich station was damaged over an area of around 50 square meters, which meant additional damage of around 2,600 euros.

The Trier Federal Police have started the investigation and are looking for information from the public. Anyone who knows anything about the incidents is asked to call 0651/43678-0. These criminal activities must be stopped and the police are counting on the support of the citizens!
