The women's team of SV Allner-Bödingen immediately won an impressive victory in the district cup and thus wrote history. In the final against the second team of SV Menden, the Middle Rhine League clearly won 6-1. This game also took place on the day of German unity and marked the fourth district cup triumph in a row for the SVA.
The victory was decided early on in the game when Lily Kostelnik in the first minute, Danielle Bender in the third and Rebecca Barth provided a clear 3-0 lead in the twelfth minute. Shortly before the half -time, Costelnic increased to 4: 0 (22nd). These early goals set the course for the further course of the game. "We then switched back several courses," said coach Jesse Muambay, who then described the performance of his players as controlled.
a clear end result
In the course of the second half, Lacon Wickert (53.) and again Bender (63.) came to other goals, which increased the final result to 6: 1. Mendens Reserve was only able to score the honor goal through Emily Roos (65.). The women's representative of SV Menden, Michael Pütz, noticed after the game: "You sold yourself almost better than the first in the semi-finals", and thus alluded to the clear defeat of the first team in the semi-finals.
The SV Allner-Bödingen received 200 euros for the team fund for the victory, while the losers received 100 euros from Menden. As a thanking highlight, there was also a box of beer from the sponsor Bitburger for both teams. This underlines the community spirit, which is not only on the field, but also apart.
On October 31, SV Allner-Bödingen will compete in the first round of the FVM Cup. It remains to be seen how they will do in this national competition. Pütz pointed out that the quota of the participants from their circle is considered inadequate compared to others, but this does not prevent them from looking optimistically into the future. "We are only in seventh place from the number of participants," he said, which underlines the importance of the upcoming cup game.
The complete team constellation of SV Allner-Bödingen reads as follows: Hennes, Schmickler (84th Kavas), Barth, Maucher, E. Grammerbach, Kostelnik (46. P.
