Dramatic location at the main train station: FDP demands strengthening package for the city center

The location around Krefeld main station is alarming! FDP parliamentary group leader Joachim Heitmann spoke of a "dramatic situation" at the city council meeting on Tuesday evening. The problems have intensified, in particular due to the increasing presence of drug and alcohol addicts. These can not only be found in front of shops, but also massively besiege the entrance area of ​​the senior center in the Hansa House.

FDP calls for immediate measures

In order to counteract this worrying development, the FDP submitted an application to adopt a "Inner City 2.0 strengthening package". This should come into force at the beginning of next year. The application was unanimously accepted, with the exception of the abstention of the left.
