Farmers protest: 125 tractors against Reichswald National Park!

In a dramatic encounter between farmers and authorities, around 125 tractors conquered the streets of the Kleve district on Saturday! The farmers protested peacefully against the plans for a national park in the Reichswald. The initiative "Our Reichswald - No to the National Park" mobilized the farmers who gathered in Kleve, Geldern, Emmerich and Rees in order to show their displeasure about the possible changes in their Region.

Protest campaign in focus

The police confirmed the massive campaign of farmers at the request of Antenne Niederrhein who drove through the entire district on three routes. The protesters vehemently campaign for their concerns, while the citizens of the Kleve district entitled to vote have to decide by December 11th whether an application for the Reichswald National Park should be submitted.
