Duisburg. In an exciting art event, the Duisburg artist and musician Guido Grospietsch presents his breathtaking photographs from the USA! Under the title “Landscapes and People” it shows the diverse world of people and their everyday lives, captured in vivid snapshots.
Grospietsch, a passionate photographer, captured impressive scenes on his three trips to the USA. This exhibition at the Beleke publishing house in Essen-Werden is a real feast for the eyes! “I started photographing everyday street situations while I was studying music,” he says. His love for street photography and fascinating landscapes make his works unique. “Every photo is a snapshot that must radiate an intensity that captivates the viewer,” explains Grospietsch.
A look at the people
The photographs of people, whom Grospietsch describes as his favorite subjects, are particularly impressive. A particular highlight are the photos he took in the American subway, inspired by the legendary photographer Walker Evans, who documented life in New York City in the 1930s. These works are not only art, but also a window into the daily lives of people in the United States.
The exhibition is a must for art and photography enthusiasts! On Sunday, November 24th, visitors have the opportunity to experience the impressive images from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Verlag Beleke, Ruhrtalstraße 52-60, in Essen.
