Handicraft master honored: NRW celebrates the best in the industry!

In a glamorous ceremony in Dortmund, the radiant national winners of the German championship were crowned! Under the eyes of top-class personalities such as Mona Neubaur, the Minister of Economics, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy from the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as Berthold Schröder, the President of the West German Chamber of Crafts, the best craftsmen from all seven chambers of crafts were honored. An evening full of pride and emotions that put the outstanding performance of the young talents in the spotlight!

"Congratulations to all winners! You did it!" Schröder called in his rousing speech and praised the extraordinary success of the young craftsmen. "You can be proud of your top performance! Each of you now has many doors open, and with a solid dual training you have laid the perfect foundation." Minister Mona Neubaur added: "Your talent and your creativity show how important training in the craft is for our future. You are the drivers of a climate -neutral economy and social cohesion!"

The best of the best

Together with Neubaur and Berthold Schröder, Jochen Renfordt, the President of the South Westphalia Chamber of Crafts, presented the coveted documents to the 14 state winners from South Westphalia. Another highlight of the evening was the appearance of the stand-up comedian Benni Stark, which provided the best entertainment and loosened up the mood.

In the weeks before, the chambers of crafts in NRW determined the best talent. With their victory at the state level, the winners have now qualified for the federal competition. All eyes are excited about the coming weeks when deciding whether they can also triumph at the national level. An exciting competition is imminent!
