Theater spectacle in Appelhülsen: caviar, currywurst and chaos!
The theater group Rampen light of the Kolping Family Appelhülsen is ready to present their new play: "Spectacle üm Kaviar un Currywuorst", a humorous Low German comedy by Winnie Abel. The rehearsals are in full swing while the actors rehearse the last subtleties to inspire the audience.
Due to the high demand for maps last year, the group expanded the performances this year and now offers five appointments. The premiere will take place on Friday, November 8th, at 7:30 p.m. in the Frenkings Hof Schulze. Further performances are scheduled for November 9, also at 7:30 p.m. and November 10th at 2:30 p.m. There will also be two more performances on November 15th at 7:30 p.m. and on November 16 at 4:30 p.m. At the Sunday presentation, November 10th, visitors also expect a special delicacy: coffee and cake.

The anticipation for the piece can also be felt on the ticket sales, which begins on October 12th at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased from Lenfers and living at Münsterstraße 17 in Appelhülsen. The entrance fee of 8 euros applies to all performances and thus invites many interested parties to experience an evening full of laughter and chaos.
The content of the piece revolves around the protagonist Erna Wutschke, which leads an old corner pub. Known for simple dishes, including the popular currywurst, your cousin Harry wrongly suspects that Erna has now operated an upscale restaurant and invests in her pub. When Harry announces his visit, Erna is forced to turn her pub into a noble restaurant at short notice. She gets support from the regular guests and her somewhat awkward partner. But as a restaurant tester that Harry ordered and the jealous competitor Waltraud appear, the chaos takes its course.
With a mix of confusion, misunderstandings and a pinch of comedy, the theater performance not only promises to heat the hearts of the audience, but also to create a resounding laughter. The Low German language brings an additional charming note into the play, which is all about the traditional German theater. This strengthens local culture and ensures an entertaining experience for everyone who is there.
