Intensive offender arrested: Federal police catch wanted person at Bielefeld train station

Bielefeld – Cologne (ots)

On Thursday morning, November 14th, the federal police broke the silence at Bielefeld main station when they were able to catch a particularly wanted intensive care perpetrator! The Cologne district court had issued an arrest warrant against the 44-year-old homeless German, who continued to commit crimes with breathtaking frequency despite two ongoing suspended sentences. The list of offenses is alarming: from exhibitionism to commercial theft to insults - this man clearly knew which laws he could ignore!

The situation was so serious that the court saw not only the risk of escape, but also the risk of further crimes. It then ordered pre-trial detention. But the police were on his trail and carried out a check that was supposed to stop his criminal activities once and for all. The arrest followed quickly and the man was immediately brought before the Bielefeld district court, where the arrest warrant was immediately executed.

Arrest with consequences

Now the intensive offender is behind bars in a correctional facility. The federal police have once again impressively demonstrated that they do not leave even the most stubborn criminals unmolested. Thanks to their quick and decisive actions, another dangerous criminal was taken out of circulation. A clear victory for citizen safety – and another chapter in the hunt for lawbreakers!
