Seventh home defeat: Timmendorf meets flowering icefighters!
Date: 12.01.2025-The ice hockey regional league Ce Timmendorf had to accept a defeat again in his seventh home game of the season. In the ETC, the Ostholsteiner lost the Salzgitter Icefighter 5: 7 in front of 753 spectators. Despite a strong start and interim tours, Timmendorf could not get the necessary points and is now falling back to seven.
The course of the game was dramatic: Kenneth Schnabel put the team in the lead in the third minute, but the Salzgitter Icefighter equalized eleven seconds later. Jakub Hofmann scored the 2-1 for Timmendorf in the sixth minute, but the guests countered with two goals and took the lead 3-2. In the first third, however, Timmendorf was able to claim a 4: 3 lead through goals by Louis Habel and Brett Mennear. The second third ended with a tie of 4: 4.
