On November 28, 2024, the world of sustainable chemistry will be turned upside down! From 2:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., 21 international experts gather in an exciting online event to discuss innovative, climate-friendly solutions. The International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Center (ISC3) invites you to illuminate the pressing challenges of decarbonizing the chemical sector and other industries.
Among the top -class speakers are greats such as Oliver Woton from Unitar, Adrian Geraldo Rodriguez from Eclac and the renowned Prof. Dr. Klaus Kümmerer from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg. "With our Spotlights we bring international stakeholders together and bundle global know-how into key topics of sustainable chemistry," explains Dr. Thomas Wanner, Managing Director of the ISC3. This event is not just an exchange, but a call for action!
Innovative approaches in focus
The event is with a keynote by Prof. Dr. Klaus Kümmerer opens, who addresses the role of sustainable chemistry in the development of circulatory processes and products. This is followed by a panel discussion on the bioeconomy, in which seven experts discuss the strategies for regional growth in Latin America. Another highlight is a webinar that deals with the use of scientific data to combat climate change and pollution. Here organizations such as the International Younter Chemistry Network and the Community Action Against Plastic Waste have their say.
The final of the program is devoted to the synergies between the global framework on chemicals and climate -friendly innovations.
