Vienna, Österreich - Metallica calls fans in the USA to donate blood during their “M72 World Tour”. This humanity campaign takes place in cooperation with the American Red Cross and is intended to help people who urgently need blood, such as trauma victims, cancer patients and freshly baked mothers. For their donation, fans receive an exclusive band t-shirt as a thank you.

The initiative is part of a broad campaign that aims at motivation for donating blood. As vienna.at , fans can hand in their blood in front of several concerts in specially set up donation centers. This possibility is offered especially during the time of the tour of the tour in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and England.

Metallica began the North American stage of her tour on August 4, 2023 in the Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The blood donation is supported by the band's “All Within My Hands” foundation, which has always taken on social responsibility. The donated blood cannon will benefit the patient directly in hospitals.
