Matthias Streicher of the SPD leads with an impressive lead of over 600 votes after 19 of 44 quick reports. Gitte Trostmann from the Greens and Torsten Drescher from the AfD have no chance of making it to the runoff and have to admit defeat!
The competition started early when, after 6 of 44 quick entries, Stapeler was ahead of the CDU candidate Henning Matthes (1,106 votes) with 1,389 votes.
