drama on the B 62! On Monday morning at 7:05 a.m. there was a terrible frontal collision between Bad Hersfeld and Niederaula. A 22-year-old BMW driver from Breitenbach am Herzberg lost control on the rain-wet road and crashed directly into the oncoming Skoda of a 27-year-old from Bad Hersfeld-Petersberg. Both drivers suffered serious injuries and had to be brought to surrounding hospitals with ambulances. A rescue helicopter was also in use, while the B 62 remained closed to rescue work until around 9:20 a.m. The property damage? A huge amount of around 18,000 euros!
