Large fire alarm in Cologne-Höhenhaus: roof structure is ablaze!

On the night of November 1st in Cologne, around 7 p.m., the alarm bells rang! Several emergency calls reported threatening smoke development in the high-rise building. A fire had raged in the attic of a residential building in Naheweg and the fire brigade was called upon!

The emergency services quickly arrived at the scene of the fire and discovered that fortunately there were no people left in the building at the time of the fire. The emergency services were still on site and looked after three residents, but all of them remained uninjured. A blessing in disguise!

Fire department on a large scale

As the Cologne fire department reported, the fire broke out in an extension and spread with frightening speed across the facade to the roof. But the fire department refused to be intimidated! The fire was extinguished within an hour, and the team of 50 emergency services and 15 vehicles demonstrated once again that they can act quickly and effectively in emergency situations. An impressive effort!
