new role as a city party chairman

At the same time, Tursky was elected as the new chairman of the Innsbruck ÖVP on Friday evening with 91.9 percent of the vote. This election took place during the city party congress after his predecessor Christoph Appler had waived a renewed candidacy to make room for the new hope. Tursky appealed to the delegates to demonstrate unity in the bourgeois camp in order to push the green mayor Georg Willi out of office next April, such as Kleine Zeitung reported. He is convinced that a stronger bourgeois unit is necessary to gain the elections and give instructions for better urban development, including topics such as more green areas and childcare.

TURSKY, a local hero of the ÖVP, was able to convince the delegates with his speech and was warmly welcomed by young to old. He demands creative and new solutions to implement the concerns of the Innsbruck citizens and is determined to reunite the bourgeois camp. He makes it clear to his colleagues: "We live in a student city" and calls for changes in the living situation. This new responsibility as a city party chairman could prove to be important for Tursky, while at the same time mastering his new professional challenge at Vodafone.
