Drama on Sunday in Ennepetal! Two missions were announced for the brave firefighters of the Ennepetal fire department, and hearts beat faster!
At 2:30 p.m., as the sun shone over the B 483, there was a serious traffic accident in which two motorcycles collided. The Külchen and Voerde fire-fighting groups as well as the main guard immediately rushed to the scene of the accident. The rescuers supported the rescue service and ensured that no dangerous resources were leaked. The spectacle ended at 3:01 p.m. after the emergency services demonstrated their skills once again.
Rescue at the last second
But that wasn't all! At 9:13 p.m. the fire department was informed that a helpless person was behind their apartment door in Oberbauer. The situation seemed serious and the rescue workers were already on alert. But when they arrived, the unexpected happened: the affected person opened the door on their own and turned out to be completely fine! The operation ended at 9:30 p.m. without the fire department and rescue service having to take any further action. Really an exciting Sunday for the Ennepetal fire department!
