Festival Retz 2025: Music meets the future - an unforgettable experience!

Retz, AT - The Festival Retz 2025 promises a musical bridge to the future and takes place in the last week of June. The opening takes place on Friday, June 27, 2025, with a concert by the Belgian ensembles Bryggen Bruges Strings . This ensemble, founded by Jolente de Maeyer and dispenses with a conductor, presents the performance of Max Richter's "New Four Seasons", a re-composition by Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" in the Dominican Church Retz. The concert began at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are available on the website www.festivalretz.at.

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, a Soiree for the “Salome” church opera takes place. An international singing ensemble from Austria, Spain and Italy will be shown in this context. The artistic team includes Luca de Marchi as a musical director, Nicole Aebersold as director, Jasmin Avissar as a dancer and choreographer and Hartmut Schörghofer as a stage designer. The Soiree offers an insight into the multimedia staging that combines music, film, dance and interior design. If the weather conditions are cheap, the event takes place in the Kulturhaus Schüttkasten, otherwise in the historic town hall of Retz. Admission is free.
