A particularly brazen e-bike theft in Salzburg was discovered by a clever GPS tracker. The police arrested four men from Moldova who were active not only in Austria but also in Germany. Thanks to the location technology, the thieves were quickly caught in Saalfelden, Mühlbach am Hochkönig and on the Tauern Autobahn. The arrested suspects had a considerable amount of loot, including stolen bicycles worth a total of around 50,000 euros.
