On Thursday, November 21st, the police from Minden-Lübbecke struck and discovered a professional drug plantation in Bad Oeynhausen-Eidinghausen. Several hundred cannabis plants and extensive cultivation equipment were seized in a private building on the “Alter Postweg” street. The officers had previously carried out intensive investigations, which led to the Bielefeld public prosecutor's office obtaining a search warrant.
Two men, aged 37 and 39, were arrested during the raid. The younger suspect was released after identification processing, while the 39-year-old was provisionally arrested. He will be brought before a judge on Friday. The police harvested the plants and completely cleared the plantation until the evening hours with the support of the Technical Relief Agency (THW).
