According to ORF Burgenland 16 large projects were realized last year alone, including a connection cycle path from Trausdorf to Eisenstadt. Safety aspects are also central to the cyclists: 94 percent feel safe on separate bike paths, which underlines the need to promote such infrastructure. Over 20 percent of working people already use the bike for the way to work, which proves the combination of bicycles and public transport as extremely important.
