Winter trips with the Twin City Liner: from March 1st again to Bratislava!

The Twin City Liner, the fastest and most modern passenger ship on the Danube, is fit for the season after extensive maintenance and numerous technical improvements. As the Vienna Holding reports, the popular catamaran returns to Bratislava on March 1, 2025. The ship runs on Saturdays and Sundays, departing from Vienna at 10:30 a.m. with a return trip from Bratislava at 4:30 p.m. Passengers can look forward to a punctual return at 6:00 p.m. In the shipyard in Linz, repairs, including work on the ship's hull, were carried out for over seven weeks and a photovoltaic system was installed, which will produce around 10,000 kWh of green electricity from this season to make the operation more sustainable.

technical progress and comfort on board

The processing of the four powerful jet drives ensured improved drive power and lowered fuel consumption. Dr. Kurt Gollowitzer, Managing Director of Vienna Holding, emphasizes that despite flood events in 2024, over 165,000 passengers could be promoted. The regular season starts on March 21, 2025, in which up to six trips are offered every day. The trips not only offer a quick and comfortable transfer in just 75 minutes between Vienna and Bratislava, but also amenities such as free WiFi and a buffet on board, while the guests can take a seat in air -conditioned, barrier -free rooms.

Attractive ticket offers are planned for the 2025 season. The limited "Red Tickets" are offered for only 25 euros per person. In addition, families benefit from special promotions and senior citizens as well as students on the “Super Tuesday” 50% discount. Tickets can be conveniently booked by phone or online. The central location of the jetty in Vienna City, directly at Schwedenplatz, makes access to the offers of the Twin City Liner a pleasure. Further information, as well as for booking, are available on the website of the Twin City Liners, as already reported
