A big star march illuminates the streets of the Hanseatic city today, November 7, 2024! From 9:30 a.m., the participants gather at three different locations to arrive at the main ratio together at around 11 a.m. The Bremen police warn of considerable traffic disruptions around the celebrations. Drivers should carefully plan their routes and track current traffic news on the radio!
Routes of the star march
The elevators run over several important streets:
- Borgwardstraße (Wendehammer) – Habenhauser Brückenstraße – Karl-Carstens-Brücke – Georg-Bitter-Straße
- Am Wall (Höhe Bremer Kunsthalle) – Ostertorsteinweg – Vor dem Steintor – Lüneburger Straße – Osterdeich bis Kreuzung Georg-Bitter-Straße
- Mercedesstraße – Sebaldsbrücker Heerstraße – Brüggeweg – Christenstraße – Hannoversche Straße – An der Grenzpappel – Pfalzburger Straße – Föhrenstraße – Hastedter Osterdeich – Georg-Bitter-Straße.
The elevators start moving between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., with a grand finale at the ranging place until 12:30 p.m.! But don't panic: the Carl-Carstens Bridge and the Easter dike towards the city center remain accessible throughout the event!
