An exciting duel on the artificial turf pitch ended with a bitter defeat for the women of UFK Potsdam 08! On Saturday evening the team welcomed FSV Viktoria for the last game of the first half of the season, and the conditions were anything but ideal. After just 17 seconds, UFK Potsdam fell behind when a player from the guests penetrated the penalty area unhindered and scored for a 1-0 lead. A shock start for the people of Havelstadt, who had to rally quickly!
But the Potsdam women were not discouraged! The first half was a thrilling game in which both teams looked for their chances. FSV Viktoria equalized in the 16th minute, but UFK countered and quickly restored the score. Shortly before the half-time whistle, the Havelstadt team managed to equalize again.
