Future issues in Brandenburg: Mayor Scheller demands Weightblick
In Brandenburg an der Havel, the members of Working Group 1 (AK1) recently met for the autumn session, which took place under the chair of Ministerial Conductor Andreas Keinath. This session throws a light on some of the most important questions that Germany currently employ, including immigration and right of residence. The topics are not only socially explosive, they can even be decisive in some federal states.
Mayor Steffen Scheller warmly welcomed the members in the Gothic house. He expressed himself optimistically about the upcoming discussions and emphasized the importance of finding new ways with "groundbreaking ideas" and "future -oriented decisions". Scheller also wished the participants "the necessary skill and the required foresight" in order to submit valuable proposals to the Interior Ministers' Conference.
The relevance of the topics
The topics treated are of central importance for the social and political future. This recently became clear in Thuringia, Saxony and Brandenburg, where the effects of decisions in immigration policy can be felt. In view of the current challenges that arise from different immigration currents, a cooperative approach in the Interior Ministers' Conference is all the more required.
The challenges in the right of residence, which are of great importance for integration and coexistence in the country, were particularly emphasized. These factors could not only have short -term social effects, but also long -term consequences for the political landscape of Germany.
Memberships of the AK1 offer a platform for the exchange of ideas and strategic approaches. The offices and institutions are in direct contact in order to quickly develop and present the resulting concepts.
"With the new impulses from this session, we can have the discussions on a broader basis and learn from each other," said a member of the working group.
The goal of developing clear and implementable suggestions is top priority. The debates in the Gothic House should not only arrange topics, but also develop concrete measures to improve the situation in the individual federal states.
It remains to be seen how these proposals will develop and what focuses on the Interior Ministers' Conference. However, the preparations are in full swing and the members of the AK1 are determined to find effective solutions together.
