In a tragic traffic accident on the A11 motorway towards Stettin, two people died on Saturday, January 11th. The accident occurred at 3:05 p.m. between the Cross Uckermark and Schmölln and involved a coach of the Flixbus company that was on the way from Berlin to Poland.

The bus tipped over to the side due to adverse weather conditions, such as black ice and snow. According to initial knowledge, the bus at the Randowbruch rest area came to the right of the road, was hit by a gust of wind and pressed into the rest area descent. In the accident, a 29-year-old Ukrainian died with a residence permit in Poland and a 48-year-old German man. A total of 11 people were injured, including four seriously and three.
