Shots at public order office: Berlin in shock after attack on officer!

In a shocking incident in Berlin, a public order office employee was targeted by a shooter! While she and her colleague were writing a complaint against a parking offender, five shots were suddenly fired at the officer. Fortunately, both were uninjured, but the crime caused horror in the city and among the police.

The attack occurred on October 23rd on Chausseestrasse, near the Erika Heß ice stadium. Only now is the incident coming to light. District mayor Stefanie Remlinger (Greens) reported that the officer felt pain in her shin when the shots were fired. The two immediately got to safety and alerted the police.

Police don't find any perpetrator

Police responded quickly and searched a nearby block of flats but were unable to locate any perpetrators. It is believed that the shots were fired with an air gun. Despite intensive investigations, the officers found no further clues. The police will not pursue the complaint any further.

The district mayor expressed concern about the increasing violence against employees in the field and emphasized that such aggression will not be tolerated. The police union is also horrified: “It's crazy that our colleague is being targeted,” said spokesman Benjamin Jendro and called for better protective equipment for employees. The situation sheds an alarming light on the safety of law enforcement in Berlin!
