Women's power on the Supervisory Board: A strong network for the future!
In economically challenging times, the role of supervisory boards becomes essential, and this is where the IV saver program shows how important it is for the future. According to ots.at , the industrial connection has successfully merged 22 tandem pairs from various industries, which are intensively prepared for future supervisory board mandate. The program not only aims to sharpen the formal skills of the participants, but also to train them in strategic thinking and networking. The proportion of women in the supervisory board bodies of Austrian companies, which is now 31.6 percent, is impressive. But there is still a lot of space for growth to further promote diversity and bring more women to management positions.
The first successes have already been celebrated at the final event of the program: six graduates have now moved into supervisory board mandates, such as Financialexperts.eu reported. In particular, networking with experienced sparring partners from top management is crucial to facilitate access to these committees. The importance of a strong network also becomes clear in the certificate program "Strategic competence for women on supervisory boards" at the University of Economics and Law in Berlin, which can already look back on a network of over 150 alumnae.
successful further training
The program in Berlin offers a unique combination of specialist knowledge and personal development, which is intended to strengthen women in control bodies in particular. In addition to intensive training, the participants get to know the dynamics within supervisory boards. Caming talks with reigning mandate carriers give valuable insights into the practice and thus offer a clear advantage when taking over a mandate. The Trend continues, more women will take a seat in the future.
