Wörnitz rises easily: Harburg under water - but don't worry!
On January 10, 2025, the Wörnitz water level in Harburg rose slightly, which led to flooding on Grassstraße and the adjacent parking lot. Andreas Tönnis from the flood -minded service of the Donauwörth Water Management Office indicated that the situation is currently not worried. Such slight floods are common in Harburg this season.
No significant increase in the water level is expected for the next two days, and the level should only rise slightly over 350 centimeters, such as Augsburger General reported.

- 380 cm: flooding on the old stone bridge
- 400 cm: flooding on the Gries
- 420 cm: closure of the Wemdinger and Verwündlinger Straße
- 435 cm: floods in several streets in Harburg
- 530 cm: blocking the B25
- 580 cm: flooding under the DB bridge below Harburg
The detailed measurement data prove that the water level was 333 cm at 3:45 p.m. and previously reached 334 cm, which indicates the stable conditions, such as HND BAYERN explained.
