Bewitched Christmas: Puppet theater delights children in Weimar-Roth!

Weimar Roth.On Monday, December 9th, the community of Weimar will be illuminated by a magical event! The children can look forward to the Staufenberg Puppet Theater, which will perform a very special piece especially for them. Mayor Markus Hermann and his predecessor Peter Eidam have worked hard to offer the community's small citizens an unforgettable experience, in keeping with the community's 50th anniversary.

The renowned Staufenberg Puppet Theater, under the creative direction of Andreas Nolting, is bringing the self-written piece “Hexed Christmas” to the stage. Visitors will be amazed by the high quality of play and the lovingly designed puppets and stage sets. During the festive Advent season, the audience will immerse themselves in the story in which Santa Claus and his sick reindeer rely on the help of Kasper and the good witch Amalia Stinkesocke. Will they manage to save Christmas? An exciting adventure full of laughter, singing and magic awaits the little viewers!

Choice between two performances

The performance in the Roth community center promises entertaining fun for everyone aged two and over. On December 9th there are two opportunities to experience the piece: the first performance begins at 3:30 p.m., followed by a second performance at 5 p.m. And the best part? Entry is completely free! As part of the anniversary celebrations, all guests young and old can take part without registering. However, if you would like, you are welcome to leave a donation for the community's kindergartens. A magical afternoon full of fun and joy awaits the children of Weimar!
