BAD KISSINGEN - The jazz cellar Bismarck's Basement in the Obere Saline Museum is ready for autumn: on October 12th it opens its new concert series with a special event. The “Jazz in Bismarck’s Basement” event has been established since its start in 1999 and offers both masterpieces and emerging talents a platform to show off their skills.
The band South West Oldtime All Stars was invited to this year's opening concert. Since their reunion in 2018, this group has become an integral part of the European traditional jazz scene with more than 200 concerts. The band's music pays homage to classic jazz, with a focus on the historical recordings of Louis Armstrong, particularly his legendary Hot5 and Hot7 tunes from the 1920s.

The South West Oldtime All Stars present their third album “The Blues and Some Other Abstract Truth” in which they explore the different facets of the blues. Fans and newcomers to the music scene should not miss the concert on October 12th.
