Full closure of the A6: Drivers have to redirect from Monday at night!

In the night of Monday, January 13th, on Tuesday, January 14th, the A6 towards Heilbronn in Middle Franconia is closed due to construction work. The blocking affects the section between Lichtenau and Ansbach and starts from around 10 p.m. The work should be completed at around 5 a.m.

The reason for the blocking is the renovation of a road damage on the railway bridge. The aim of the measures is to avoid consequential damage and increased traffic interventions, especially in winter. The traffic is directed from the Lichtenau junction via the U64 demand redirection, which is signposted accordingly. Drivers in the direction of Nuremberg are not affected by this block. The North Bavaria branch of Autobahn GmbH of the federal government asks all road users for increased caution and patience in the construction site area, such as North Bavaria reported.

construction work at the Ansbach junction

The construction work at the Ansbach junction has been running since May 2021. The dismantling of temporary activity is currently being dismantled to ensure the traffic routing. From Monday, November 27th, the Heilbronn - Ansbach departure will also be closed for about two weeks. After completing this block, the driving relationship from Gunzenhausen to Nuremberg will be possible again via the eastern ascent ramp. Traffic participants are asked to follow the Claffheim needs, such as Autobahn.de .
