ÖBB revolutionizes travel: comfortable railjets connections Lienz-Wien!

From December 2025, ÖBB will use modernized railjet sets on the south route between Vienna and Lienz. The first of these upgraded trains are to be included in the timetable on October 6, 2025 for two direct connections. Modernizations in detail

The modernization includes numerous improvements: the old seats in the 1st and 2nd class as well as in the business class are replaced, with new seats offer significantly more comfort.
