Sternsinger collect in Münster for children's rights: This is how the campaign went!
On Saturday, the star singers of the parish of St. Lamberti collected donations in the city center of Münster. This special campaign was accompanied by a service that took place at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Lamberti Church and attracted around 60 star singers and adult companions.
During the service, blessing was consecrated with the saying "20+C+M+B+25". From 10 a.m., the Sternsinger distributed themselves in groups on the church square and in the surrounding streets, between Lower Saxony and Ludgerikreisel. They also visited old people's homes, kindergartens and the Raphaelsklinik to pass on their blessing "to go" to passers -by.

In 2024, the star singers were able to collect over 10,000 euros. This year too, they are committed to children's rights, especially in the field of education and health, and support projects in Kenya and Colombia by the children's mission work and the federal government of German Catholic Youth. On Monday the star singers are on the road all day before the final sum is announced.
The star singers received warm food during their break in the rectory. The 10-year-old Eddy reported that many homeowners were at home when they rang the rang, while Tim (10) found the campaign nice to help other children with friends. In addition, the 8-year-old Konrad was happy about the sweets that they received in addition to the donations. The donation box in the rectory already resulted in 692 euros.-transmitted by West-Ost-media
