BBS Technik Cloppenburg: Lower Saxony Sensation for Innovative School Development!
BBS Technik Cloppenburg did it! This innovative school was recognized by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Culture as one of the best schools in the country. Of the over 2,500 schools in Lower Saxony, only 23 were selected, and only two of them are vocational schools. A truly impressive result for BBS technology, which has made a name for itself due to its outstanding innovative strength!
With around 2,600 pupils in the Oldenburger Münsterland, BBS Technik relies on the latest educational concepts. Digitization plays a central role: Each student has access to all Microsoft applications and job-specific programs within 48 hours of schooling. The entire school management is digitized - from grading to the parents' response days. The future of education is already being lived here today!
Innovative learning approaches and gender justice
BBS technology goes one step further: In the language and integration classes, the use of VR glasses and AI-controlled learning modules creates a personalized learning environment. This enables individual support and optimized learning progress. In cooperation with the district craftsmanship, a digital learning environment is also established in the area of vehicle technology that helps the students maximize their practical skills.
Another milestone is the planned BES CAMPUS, which is supposed to create a positive learning environment for professional start-up students. Here the transition to dual training is optimized to increase the mediation rate. In addition, the educational offer is designed gender -neutral in order to gain more women for technical professions. The new medical technology advanced course in the vocational high school technology already shows success in the equality of gender.
And that's not all! A food technique is being built on the BBS technology site to create a glass production and to promote professional orientation in the agricultural and nutrition industry. Headmaster Andreas Berndt is proud of the award and the progress of the school. BBS technology is ready to share its innovative concepts with other schools in Lower Saxony and to change the educational landscape sustainably!
