Ischgl cheered: The world's largest Lego gondola in the Guinness Book!

In Ischgl, a truly spectacular world record is celebrated today! The largest gondola from Lego stones was officially recognized as a new record in the Guinness Book of Records. The impressive building, which is 4.85 meters high and 2.8 meters wide, consists of around one million lego stones and was the result of a joint project that has been worked on since November 2024. Under the guidance of professional LEGO experts, visitors were able to actively participate in the construction and live out their creativity, as OE24.at

The LEGO Gondel serves as a replica of the A2 cabin railway of the 3-S Pardatschgratbahn from Doppelmayr and not only inspires with its dimensions, but also with a colorful mosaic of 24,576 Lego elements that represent iconic images from Ischgl. The official confirmation of the world record by the referee Seyda Subasi-Gemici took place on February 16, 2025, which gives this milestone even more meaning, as the PR newsroom informed.

Anna Kurz, marketing board of the Paznaun tourism association-Ischgl, emphasizes: "The LEGO Gondel is not only a world record, but also a symbol of what we can achieve in Ischgl together with our guests." Until April 30, 2025, visitors have the opportunity to experience this unique work of art in the Pardorama mountain restaurant up close and become part of this extraordinary project.
