Austria's new coalition: revolutionary plans for hard work and family!
The political landscape in Austria is characterized by a dramatic change: the new coalition of ÖVP, SPÖ and Neos, also known as the Austrro-Stampel, has presented its comprehensive government program. Chancellor Christian Stocker presented the central content in parliament and announced an upcoming change that will not only influence the political orientation, but also the everyday life of people. On Monday, March 3, Stocker will officially swear as a chancellor, while the coalition partners agree on the last subtleties of the agreement. According to the Kurier should be completed by the middle of the week in order to bring the new ministerial riot.
A central element of the government program is the introduction of a headscarf ban for girls up to 14 years old, which rejects the \ media discussions about religious symbols in public. However, this law avoids the ban on political Islam, since the SPÖ pursues a differentiated approach. In the field of education, mandatory measures such as the introduction of a second kindergarten year and an Austrian mobile phone ban in schools are on the agenda. In addition, a comprehensive economic package is put together in order to revitalize the economy and reduce wages, while banks are asked to pay for the cash register, such as Kosmo reported.
For the coming weeks, an exciting phase of the ministerial occupations is imminent. While some cabinet members such as Gerhard Karner in the Ministry of the Interior and Klaudia Tanner are considered to be set in the defense department, it is speculated about which items the NEOs receive. The decision about this could have a significant impact on political dynamics both within the coalition and in parliament. The members of the NEOS will vote on the coalition agreement on Sunday, March 2, whereby broad consent is necessary to ensure the desired harmonization of government goals.
