On Friday evening, December 13, 2024, a dramatic incident occurred at the bridge between Steinhammerstrasse and Overhoffstrasse in Dortmund. A man who was apparently sleeping on a concrete ledge fell from a height of around eight meters directly onto the Deutsche Bahn tracks. Passers-by who observed the incident initially tried to wake him up and get him out of the danger zone.
