Tio Cipot stays at GAK: This is how he fights to stay in the league!
The GAK can look forward to another season with Tio Cipot. Sports director Dieter Elsneg announced during the general meeting that the player would stay at GAK for another year. Cipot is once again on loan from Spezia, with a purchase option included in the deal. This decision comes despite Cipot having received numerous attractive offers; he consciously decided to stay with GAK.
Last season, Cipot made a decisive contribution to the club's relegation, especially in the qualifying round. In 27 league games in the Admiral Bundesliga he scored seven goals and provided two assists. His performance has made him an important figure in the team and his stay is pleasing to the club's fans and management.
Award for Otar Kiteishvili
While GAK relies on its stars, Otar Kiteishvili from SK Puntigamer Sturm Graz received the “Player of the Season” award. The 29-year-old Georgian successfully defended his title from last year. Only a few players, including Ivica Vastic and Steffen Hofmann, have successfully defended a title in the history of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga.
Kiteishvili showed an outstanding performance in his seventh season for SK Puntigamer Sturm Graz, scoring twelve goals and assisting three more. This was another reason for his success as he also won his second consecutive league title.

The best players were chosen by a jury consisting of presidents, managers and coaches of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. These honors reflect the high quality in the league and contribute to the attractiveness of football in Austria.
