Culinary festival along the Wachaubahn: Secure tickets now!

On May 24, 2025, the event "Fusk’skstekklück am Bahnhof" takes place along the picturesque Wachauber. Various train stations in the region, including Weißenkirchen, Spitz, Aggsbach and Emmersdorf, offer a rich program that is dedicated to the promotion of regional cuisine, wine and enjoyment. The aim of this event is to clearly present the culinary treasures of the Wachau and to prepare an unforgettable day for guests. The first train drives at 9:18 a.m. from Krems on the Danube. The event promises all -day programs with culinary offers and musical entertainment by the "Honsig Buam", which will play both on the train and at the participating stations. The different train stations have special offers that the guests will enchant.

Special delicacies await visitors along the route. A sweet breakfast is offered in Emmersdorf between 10:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. In Aggsbach and Spitz, guests can enjoy Heurigenschmankerl and regional specialties, while Weißenkirchen organized a tasting of fine wines in cooperation with the Weixelbaum winery.

Numerous connections between Vienna and St. Pölten are also available for arrival, with special descents for the event. Guests are advised to take care of their tickets in time, as the Wachaubahn crosses a breathtaking landscape that invites you to linger.

The Wachaubahn will offer the company in the 2025 season to November 30th on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, while driven daily from May 1st to November.
