Carinthian children need help: a fundraising campaign for those affected by cancer!

The Carinthian children's cancer aid has received a significant donation that was handed over by the city mathers. In the organization's office, Burggraf Willi Noll presented the donation to Annelie Granitzer, the deputy chairman, and cashier Theresia Hrstic. Noll emphasized the urgency of this support and said: "Especially the smallest and the most helpless need our help." The city judges are known for their commitment: In the past, they have already financed important purchases such as a venous search equipment for the children's oncology of the Klagenfurt Clinic. "Such long -term partnerships give us planning security," says Granitzer.

Important support for families

The Carinthian children's cancer aid supports more than 300 affected families in Austria every year, which are faced with the terrible diagnosis of cancer. Although eight out of ten children recover thanks to modern medical care, the disease leaves deep scars - not only in the patients, but also with their families. The association, which has been active since 1988, not only offers financial aid for affected families, but also emotional support in order to be at the side of these difficult times. A volunteer organization with minimal administrative costs enables the help to arrive directly with the families.

The Austrian children's cancer aid also finances the required equipment at the oncology stations and is involved in the clarification of the topic of cancer in children, which is often taboo. "Every euro is an investment in the future of these children," Noll appealed and asked the public to become active and support the work of the helpers. This important auxiliary action shows how important it is to fight together against the challenges of the disease-for the affected children and their families, as well as kinderkrebshilfe.at
