Julian Besemann: New hope for the left in the Waldshut constituency!

Die Linke nominated Julian Besemann as a direct candidate for the constituency of 288 Waldshut for the Bundestag election on February 23. The 35-year-old Besemann comes from Wehr and was unanimously elected at a general meeting of the Left-wing district association Waldshut. Besemann is working as a caregiver professionally and is passionate about social policy.

In his political work, Besemann is committed to racism and discrimination. He wants to counteract political legal pressure in the region and criticizes the precarious living conditions that people experience through capitalism. Besemann emphasizes that economically worse, people with a migration background and queer people are often treated as "scapegoats" for political wrong decisions.
