This spectacular staging runs over 450 streets, starting in the outdoor district to the center, and culminates in a 50 -meter -high Christmas tree, the majestic presence of which is called the "largest in the world". According to Mayor Abel Caballero, who is also looking for competition with New York this season, around six million people visited the light spectacle in 2023. Above all, the high costs of 2.2 million euros for Christmas lights encounter resistance because they exceed the annual budget for schools.
