Change of perspective: Art installation in the Penzberger Museum inspires visitors

A fascinating art event unfolds in the Penzberger Museum! The Penzberg art center presents the "Change of Perspective", which is eagerly awaited, and can be seen from December 7th to January 5, 2025. The installation of Dorothea Reese-Heim captivates the visitors by transforming nostalgic postcards into a creative archive. These cards, which once held the holiday greetings from Dirk, Uwe and others, are now part of a unique artistic reflection on time and change.

On the top floor of the museum, "A look back" is presented, an installation that invites the viewers to leaf through the hanging files and discover the converted center pieces of the cards. Gisela Geiger, the curator, explains that the exhibition not only arouses memories, but also calls for an active examination of the current "time turn". The works of art by Isabelle Roth, Juschi Bannaski and Thomas Grubert show different perspectives and invite you to look at the world with curious eyes.

a festival of creativity

The exhibition is a real feast of creativity! The students of the neighboring high school also participated and presented their works in the other rooms of the upper floor. Rainer Hörgl, an experienced exhibition helper, praises the impressive work of the young artists. "Gigantic what the students always do here," he says enthusiastically. The variety of works of art ranges from humorous installations to profound images that stimulate thought.

On the ground floor, visitors can also admire the anamorphosis of Giovanni Lora, which surprises with a bucket and a monkey. Images of Monika Supé and exciting lithographs by Gabriele Lampadius round off the experience. The exhibition "change of perspective" is not only an invitation to change your own perspective, but also a celebration of art in all its facets. A visit is definitely worth it!
