Uderns, Österreich - In Uderns, the popular Steudltenn Theater Festival will also quake the stage in 2025! From March 31 to July 12th, the organizers Bernadette Abendstein and Hakon Hirzenberger present an exciting program that not only includes numerous prominent names, but also innovative plays. The 67-year-old TV star Harald Schmidt will chat on May 7th as a highlight together with the artistic director Hirzenberger about his diverse experience. Schmidt will inspire the audience in the usual manner, while “Emperor” Robert Palfrader also made his debut with a solo program. He will surprise the festival visitors with a fresh, new look at the world, such as Kleine Zeitung reported.

The creators of the festival have not only limited themselves to prominence, but also compiled a rich theater program. Philip Hochmair will read excerpts from Kafka's "The Process" and "America" and play all roles themselves. Birgit Minichmayr brings Dorothy Parker's “New York Dabs” to performance, while further premieres, such as the humorous piece “No to money”, are supposed to attract spectators. The festival comprises a total of 90 performances, including six premieres and two premieres. MeinDärzirk reported that the festival aims to offer new prospects for the viewers and to illuminate social issues in an entertaining way. With special attention to sustainability, Steudltenn is considered one of the most sustainable festival in Austria. Organizer Bernadette Abendstein emphasizes the relevance of such initiatives and refers to the continuous “change of perspective”, which is supposed to stimulate the audience to look at things differently. As part of the festival, there will also be a U21 theater that deals with the current topic of artificial intelligence. With committed actions and a loyal fan base, Steudltenn is an indispensable part of the Tyrolean cultural scene.
